SUE LEDFORD, a commercial student from Parley
Coburn joined Cheerleaders" Club and Girls
Glee Club in her freshman year. As a junior she was
a member of Spanish Club and served on Junior Prom Committee.
Sue. as a senior, was a member of Ushers' Club. National
Honor Society and Edsonian Literary Staff. She also
served on Senior Play, Senior Prom, and Senior Carnival
Committees.
After coming to SHS from Notre Dame. academic
student DAWN LEMONCELLI was very active. In her
junior year she was kept busy as an alternate Student
Council representative and as a member of the Junior
Prom, Junior Play, and Junior Day committees. While
a senior, Dawn was on the Edsonian business staff, a
member of Ushers' Club, and secretary of Junior Red
Cross.
When commercial student SHARON LOOMIS came to
Southside's hallowed halls from Hopkins Street School,
she found her time filled with Mixed Chorus, Cheerleaders'
Club, Christmas assemblies, Ushers' Club, and dance
committees.
Another of the Senior Class's familiar faces was that
of MICHAEL LOSINGER, graduate of Edgeworth
School. This energetic academic student served as
class treasurer in his sophomore and junior years, a
member of German Club for four years, and of National
Honor Society for two years! He also attended Youth
County and Boys' State. Besides participating in both
the Junior and Senior Plays, the Optimist Oratorical
Contest, and Freshman and Sophomore Parent Nights, Mike
found time for being on the Edsonian literary staff,
for Footlighters' Club, and for Student Council for
two years, serving as vice president in his senior year.
Academic student ANN LOWERY entered the portals
of this school when she left Hopkins Street School.
Ann was a member of Ushers' Club.
Parley Coburn sent us MARY LUCKEY, a
great contributor to the Class of '59. During her sophomore
year, Mary was on the Sophomore Business Committee and
participated in Sophomore Parents Night and the candy
sale. While a junior, she was on the Junior Prom committees
and a member of the cast of the Footlighters' Play.
As a senior, Mary remained active by directing the Senior
Play, belonging to Ushers' Club, and continuing membership
in Footlighters. She, also in Scribblers' Club her senior
year, served as Scribblers' Club president.
